Uzbekistan

It has been announced how medical facilities in Uzbekistan will operate during the holidays.

Healthcare facilities in Uzbekistan will operate without interruption from August 29 to September 1. To ensure uninterrupted operations during holidays and weekends, the Ministry of Health has established a special headquarters.

According to information provided by the Ministry of Health's press service, all healthcare facilities, including district, city, regional, and national hospitals, specialized centers, and clinics at medical universities, will operate on standby. Standby has also been established at 39 inter-district centers specializing in traumatology and vascular diseases.

The emergency medical service will continue its normal operations. More than 2,900 teams will be on duty 24/7 across the country at 14 branches, 189 stations, 40 substations, and 1,492 support points. All maternity hospitals and children's healthcare facilities will also operate seven days a week.

It was previously reported that additional rail, road, and air services would be launched in Uzbekistan during the holidays. These measures are aimed at stimulating domestic tourism and creating comfortable travel conditions.
