Which regions have a higher number of foreign enterprises?

As of September 1, 2026, 21,490 enterprises and organizations with foreign investment operated in Uzbekistan.

Of these, 13,412 accounted for the city of Tashkent. This constitutes 62.4 percent of the total enterprises and organizations.

Tashkent region was recorded in second place with 2,997 enterprises. In subsequent places, there were 776 such enterprises in Samarkand region, 678 in Fergana region, and 653 in Surkhandarya region.

In Andijan region, 528 enterprises and organizations with foreign investment operated. In Bukhara region, this figure was 457, and in Syrdarya region, 351.

336 enterprises were recorded in Navoiy region, 331 in Namangan region, and 290 in Jizzakh region. The number of such enterprises was 271 in the Republic of Karakalpakstan, 216 in Khorezm region, and 194 in Kashkadarya region.
