In Uzbekistan, the system of supplying liquefied gas to the population will change from November 1

A new system for supplying liquefied gas to the population will be introduced in Uzbekistan. "Hududgaztaminot" will purchase gas through the exchange and deliver it to consumers.

UzA reports that for this purpose, the company LPG-Trade is being established under the auspices of the company. The innovation will come into effect as early as November 1.

Currently, "Hududgaztaminot" provides liquefied gas to more than 3 million 730 thousand households and nearly 2 thousand social facilities. During January–August 2026, 352.1 thousand tons of gas were delivered to consumers.

For the autumn-winter season, 93 gas filling stations have been prepared, and a stock of 24 thousand household cylinders has been created. In the 2026–2027 season, it is planned to supply 325.7 thousand tons of liquefied gas. This includes 8.2 thousand tons to be received by 104.7 thousand consumers in 229 remote villages.

It is also reported that a digital platform for calculating energy tariffs will be launched in Uzbekistan from July 2027. The new measures for the development of the fuel and energy sector were approved by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev. The document provides for the revision of the functions of state bodies and the gradual introduction of market mechanisms in the field of energy supply.
