Shakhnoza Mirziyoyeva, First Deputy Director of the National Agency for Social Protection, announced the developed proposals for introducing amendments to the legislation. She wrote about this on Instagram.
One of the proposals is to establish life imprisonment for the sexual abuse of children. According to Mirziyoyeva, the agency, together with responsible departments, worked on these and other amendments for several months.
It is also proposed to increase the responsibility of parents for the lack of care for children. For educators, they want to toughen the responsibility for violence and humiliation.
In addition, it is proposed to provide victimized children with legal assistance and protection at every stage of the investigation and trial. The prepared proposals have already been submitted for consideration.
