In Uzbekistan, land plots put up for auction will be sold with existing construction permits.

Tashkent, Uzbekistan – Podrobno.uz News Agency.

Entrepreneurs in Uzbekistan will be able to begin construction immediately after purchasing a plot at auction, avoiding the need to spend six months to a year obtaining permits. Land plots will be offered at auction with a full set of documents, including architectural planning specifications, design documentation, and a construction permit.

This information was announced on August 18

by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev during an open dialogue with business representatives held in the Khorezm region.

In addition to eliminating bureaucratic procedures, the financial burden on developers is also reduced: the advance payment for the infrastructure fee has been reduced from 20% to 5%. It was previously announced that a comprehensive inventory of urban areas designated for public use will be conducted in Tashkent. This audit will assess the legality of construction permits, compliance with urban development standards, and the protection of residents' rights.
