It is proposed to pay a monthly fee of 5 million soums to certain creators in Uzbekistan

It is proposed to provide state support to creators who have achieved high results in Uzbekistan, pay them a monthly fee of 5 million soums, and grant them the opportunity to use public transport for free.

This is stated in a draft law providing for amendments and additions to the Law "On Cultural Activity and Cultural Organizations."

According to the project, starting from 2027, it is planned to hold the Congress of National Creators in the form of an annual report of creative associations.

At the congress, it is proposed to incentivize creators who have achieved high creative results during the year from the funds of the State Budget in the following manner:

The draft law is aimed at strengthening the social protection of creators, providing them with material and moral incentives, and developing creative potential in the field of culture and art.

It should be noted that these benefits are currently provided for in the draft law, and their implementation depends on the adoption of the document.

For reference, in legislation, a natural person engaged in creative activity in one or several areas of cultural activity on a professional or non-professional basis (on an amateur basis) is called a creative person.
