In Tokyo, a delivery courier from Uzbekistan has been detained on suspicion of molesting a 10-year-old girl.

Tokyo police have detained a 45-year-old citizen of Uzbekistan, who worked as a food delivery courier, on suspicion of committing indecent acts against an elementary school student.

As reported by Jiji Press, Dilshod Komiljonovich Muminov, residing in the Shinagawa ward, arrived to deliver food to an apartment in the Setagaya ward at around 5:00 PM on July 5. At that moment, the girl, who was 10 years old or older, was home alone.

According to the police, the man hugged and kissed the girl. After the incident, she called the emergency police number herself.

The suspect has admitted to the charges. According to police, he said he could not control himself because the girl was his type.

The investigation is ongoing.
