In the Bukhara region, photo and video recording systems detected a speeding vehicle with an altered state license plate nine times.

As a result, fines totaling more than 10 million soums were imposed on him, the press service of the Road Safety Service of the Department of Public Safety of Uzbekistan reported.

The violation was detected during patrol operations.

Legal measures were taken against the driver.

The department reminded that unauthorized alteration of a state license plate or the use of a license plate belonging to another vehicle entails legal liability.
