In Tashkent, a travel agency employee was selling work visas to Slovakia

In the Chilanzar district of Tashkent, a travel agency manager was detained for promising a resident of the Samarkand region to arrange a work visa and organize his employment in Slovakia, despite lacking the appropriate authority. For his services, the man demanded 3,000 dollars and 2.5 million soums.

According to the State Security Service, the manager had no right to engage in mediation for sending citizens of Uzbekistan to work abroad.

He was detained with physical evidence while accepting a portion of the agreed amount — 1,000 dollars and 2.5 million soums.

A criminal case has been initiated against the man, and investigative actions are underway.

In addition, two women were detained in Tashkent on suspicion of illegally arranging entry visas to Uzbekistan for three foreigners for nearly 30,000 dollars. One of them was detained while receiving the full amount, and the second after 27,000 dollars was handed over to her; a criminal case has been initiated against both.
