In Tashkent, a security guard harassed a 6th-grade girl
The incident occurred on September 15 in one of the schools in the Shaykhontohur district. A 23-year-old man, who works as a contracted security guard at the educational institution, committed sexual harassment against a 6th-grade girl inside the school building. The court concluded that the offense showed signs of a crime and forwarded the case to the prosecutor.

In the Shaykhontohur district, a security guard sexually harassed a 12-year-old girl.
According to the court document, 23-year-old Sh.J. worked at the school as a security guard on a contract basis. On September 15, at 15:30, he approached the 12-year-old female student inside the school building, grabbed her by the waist, and sexually harassed her by kissing her on the lips.
The investigative body classified Sh.J.'s actions under Part 1 of Article 41-1 of the Code of Administrative Responsibility (sexual harassment) and sent the case to court.
The court reviewed the administrative case opened against Sh.J., concluded that the offense contained signs of a crime, and issued a ruling to return the case to the prosecutor.
"Whether or not Sh.J. committed acts of sexual harassment against a minor girl born in 2014, whether or not there are signs of a crime in his actions, and the circumstances of the case have not been fully investigated. During the reinvestigation, the circumstances of the case must be fully examined to determine whether there are signs of a crime in Sh.J.'s actions, and if a crime has been committed, his actions must be assessed accordingly," the court ruling states.
According to Article 129 of the Criminal Code, committing indecent or depraved acts without the use of force against a person under the age of 16 is punishable by up to 3 years of deprivation of liberty, and committing such acts against a person under the age of 14 is punishable by up to 5 years of deprivation of liberty. If these acts are committed with the use of force or threats, a punishment of 5 to 8 years of deprivation of liberty is imposed.
