In Tashkent, a man tried to get rid of drugs in front of patrol officers. Video

In the Chilanzar district of Tashkent, 4.5 grams of hashish were found on a driver. The man tried to get rid of the drugs right during the vehicle inspection. Video

The basis for the inspection was the suspicious behavior of the driver. As law enforcement agencies reported, at approximately 23:00, a local resident noticed a suspicious vehicle and asked patrol officers to check it. During the search in the presence of attesting witnesses, a brown substance with a pungent odor was found on the driver, which was identified as hashish.

During the conversation with law enforcement officers, the man began to apologize and promised that he would no longer use drugs. He also offered to test whether he was currently using them and admitted to having taken illegal substances in the past.

The case materials are currently with the Chilanzar District Department for Coordination of Internal Affairs Bodies. Legal evaluation of the incident is now being considered under point "a" of Part 2 of Article 276 of the Criminal Code of Uzbekistan, which provides for liability for possession of narcotic drugs without the intent to sell.

Earlier, at the "Uch Qahramon" checkpoint, a Spark passenger was detained after trying to flee during a vehicle search. Drugs, scales, and packaging materials were found at his home. In total, 1.5 kilograms of mephedrone, 120 grams of Alpha-PVP, and 100 grams of spice were seized.
