3.5 kg of Hash Oil Seized from Drug Laboratory in Tashkent

Officers of the State Security Service and the Ministry of Internal Affairs have shut down a drug laboratory in the capital's Chilanzar district.

According to law enforcement agencies, the site was used for the manufacture and preparation of narcotic substances for distribution.

The suspect is a citizen born in 2002, who rented an apartment in one of the district's residential buildings and used it for illegal activities.

During the search of the premises in the presence of attesting witnesses, law enforcement officers found narcotic substances packaged in zip-lock bags for distribution via hidden drop-offs (dead drops), as well as electronic scales, a mixer, a hair dryer, syringes, 1,000 empty transparent bags, 1,000 empty vials, and other items.

In total, 3.5 kg of hash oil, 600 g of hashish, 200 g of marijuana, and eight cookies containing a narcotic substance were seized from the apartment.

A criminal case has been initiated against the detainee under Article 276¹ of the Criminal Code. Remand in custody has been selected as a preventive measure.

Investigative measures are ongoing.
