In Sirdaryo, a teenager who tried to break into an ATM with an axe was detained

In the Guliston district of the Sirdaryo region, a person who attempted to break into an ATM at night and steal the money inside was detained by Security Service officers.

The incident occurred on September 12 at around 03:16 on Komiliy Street in the "Oltin Vodiy" neighborhood of the Guliston district. An alarm signal was received at the monitoring center of the Security Service under the Sirdaryo Region Department of Internal Affairs from an ATM belonging to the Cash Collection Service LLC.

During the inspection, a person with a covered face, holding an axe and other tools, was found attempting to break the outer part of the ATM. Upon seeing the Security Service officers, the suspect tried to flee the scene but was detained through the efforts of the rapid response group.

The investigation revealed that the person who committed this offense was D.S., born in 2008, residing in the Guliston district. He was taken to the district Department of Internal Affairs in accordance with the established procedure.

Currently, the investigation into this case is ongoing.
