In Surxondaryo, the head of a district sanitation department has been detained

It was reported that the head of the Shurchi district department of sanitary-epidemiological peace and public health was detained while receiving 2.1 million soums in exchange for issuing sanitary certificates to 42 employees of a preschool education organization.

Employees of the Shurchi district department of the Department for Combating Economic Crimes under the General Prosecutor's Office conducted an operational event.

During the event, the head of the Shurchi district department of sanitary-epidemiological peace and public health, E.E., was detained with material evidence.

According to the investigation data, he promised S.X., the head of one of the preschool education organizations in the district, to obtain sanitary certificates for 42 employees of the institution.

It is reported that the official was caught while receiving 2.1 million soums in exchange for this service.

Regarding the situation, a criminal case has been initiated under Article 210 of the Criminal Code — bribery. Investigative actions are currently underway.
