In Surxondaryo, thugs who beat a 32-year-old man to death have been imprisoned

In the Denov district of Surxondaryo region, on April 27, a 32-year-old man was beaten to death following a dispute over a land sale. In the case reviewed by the Denov District Criminal Court, five individuals found guilty were sentenced to prison terms ranging from 4 to 9 years.

According to the case materials, a resident of the Yangi Hayot neighborhood, born in 1989, decided to resolve a property dispute through violence and involved four of his acquaintances aged between 22 and 30. On April 27, at around 17:30, they drove in Lacetti and Nexia cars to a car wash in the Bog'ishamol neighborhood and beat up two relatives who were there.

They then forced one of them into the Lacetti and took him to the Bobotog area of the Uzun district. There, severe bodily injuries were inflicted on the young man's body. According to witnesses, a stun gun was also used on him.

The 32-year-old man, who sustained severe bodily injuries, was abandoned at the entrance of the emergency medical department of the Denov District Medical Association. Despite the resuscitation measures taken by doctors, it was impossible to save his life, and biological death was recorded.

In court, it was revealed that the victims were a father and son, who were the uncle and cousin of the criminal group's organizer. The dispute arose over a land sale issue. In addition, according to the case documents, more than 6 grams of various types of narcotics were also found in the gang leader's home.

At the conclusion of the trial, the five defendants were sentenced to prison terms ranging from 4 to 9 years. In accordance with Article 59 of the Criminal Code, the sentences were partially combined, and one of the defendants was handed a final sentence of 9 years of imprisonment.
