Case of sexual abuse of a teenager by several men under investigation in Samarkand region. Video
In Samarkand region, a underage girl was subjected to sexual abuse by three men over a long period. As a result, she became pregnant, but lost the child in the eighth month of pregnancy. This became known from publications on social networks. As the press service of the Supreme Court informed Podrobno.uz, a case regarding one of the men is being considered behind closed doors, while proceedings regarding the other two have been terminated.
A video appeal was published by a blogger whom the victim's mother approached for help. According to her, the abuse began in February 2024, when the girl was 14 years old.
At the same time, the perpetrators filmed what was happening on video and then used the footage for blackmail, threatening the girl with spreading the recordings on the Internet.
The victim's mother said that since December 15, 2025, the family had applied to various authorities and organizations, including those dealing with women's issues, but, according to her, proper attention was not given to the case. She asks that the investigation be taken under control.
The woman also reported problems with medical care. According to her, after her daughter lost the child in the eighth month of pregnancy, she needed medical assistance. The mother claims that at the Nurabad District Medical Association and one of the maternity institutions in Samarkand, money was demanded from the family for the provision of medical services. These statements have not yet received official confirmation and require a separate investigation.
In addition, according to the victim's mother, not all those involved in the crime have been detained: some remain at large, one, as she was informed, went abroad, and only one is in custody.
The press service of the Supreme Court reported that the case of one of the defendants, a 47-year-old man, is being considered by the Samarkand District Criminal Court. He is accused of sexual intercourse with a person under 16 years of age (paragraph "a" of part three of Article 128 of the Criminal Code).
The hearings are being held behind closed doors on the basis of Article 19 of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
The court promised to provide additional information after the conclusion of the proceedings.
As for the other two defendants, the proceedings in their cases were terminated on May 25, 2026, by investigators' rulings. Regarding one of them, the case was closed without resolving the issue of guilt (paragraph 2 of part five of Article 84 of the Code of Criminal Procedure). The second was found not to be involved in the crime (part three of Article 83 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, grounds for rehabilitation).
Details on why exactly such decisions were made were not disclosed by the Supreme Court.
