"Since this criminal case concerns a minor and their honor and dignity, spreading any unconfirmed reports about this situation is contrary to the child's interests and undermines their rights," the Children's Ombudsman's report says.

Regarding this case of sexual violence committed against the child, a criminal case was initiated on September 12 by the Investigation Department of the Uchkurgan District Department of Internal Affairs under Article 118, Part 4 (rape of a person under fourteen years of age) and Article 112, Part 1 (threat to kill or use violence) of the Criminal Code. For such an act, a punishment of 15 to 20 years of imprisonment is prescribed.

"No leniency related to serving the sentence will be applied to persons who have committed this category of crime," the report says.

On the same day, the suspect in committing the crime, K.M., was detained in accordance with procedural order, and a preventive measure of detention was applied against him by the court. Currently, preliminary investigation actions are being carried out regarding this criminal case.

According to the National Agency for Social Protection, specialists from the regional "Inson" social services center immediately provided the necessary psychological, medical, social, and legal assistance to the minor victim, and the process of supporting the child and their family is currently ongoing.
