In Kyrgyzstan, the yurt-shaped "Bishkek Arena" stadium has been built
In the city of Bishkek, the construction of the new multifunctional "Bishkek Arena" stadium, designed for more than 51 thousand spectators, has been completed. The sports complex, valued at 386 million dollars, has been commissioned and hosted its first major international event.

The new arena can accommodate 51,252 spectators and was built in accordance with international requirements for hosting football matches and other major sports competitions. The eight-story building is constructed in the shape of a traditional Kyrgyz yurt.
The diameter of the structure is 280 meters, and its height is 70 meters. The total area of the complex is 194.2 thousand square meters.
In addition to the stadium itself, the complex also features a developed commercial and entertainment infrastructure. It houses 23 restaurants, 11 cafes, a shopping center, a supermarket, 48 shops, 18 kiosks, four cinemas, a gym, a children's playground, and terraces. Nearly 36 thousand square meters of space have been allocated for commercial facilities.
These facilities are expected to generate income and cover the maintenance costs of the stadium without placing an additional burden on the state budget.
Initially, there were plans to build a more compact stadium in Bishkek designed for 30–35 thousand spectators. However, the project was later revised: the capacity was increased to over 51 thousand seats, and the facility was transformed into a major multi-functional sports complex. The final cost of construction was 386 million dollars.
"Bishkek Arena" has already begun hosting major events. On August 31, the opening ceremony of the VI World Nomad Games was held at the new stadium.
