In Khorezm, a legal adviser to a water supply company was detained while receiving a bribe

In the Khorezm region, a legal adviser to the "Xorazm suv ta'minoti" company was detained while receiving a bribe. As reported by the Department under the Prosecutor General's Office, for a reward, he promised to illegally arrange a connection to the drinking water supply system.

According to the investigation, the company employee gained the trust of an entrepreneur and offered to resolve the issue of connecting a commercial property to the drinking water supply system. He assured that through acquaintances in high positions, he would be able to prepare the necessary technical documentation.

The man was detained at the moment of receiving 6 million sums. The department also reported that he had been previously convicted.

A criminal case has been opened on this fact. An investigation is currently underway to establish all the circumstances of the incident.
