In the city of Karshi, Kashkadarya region, action has been taken against a driver who dangerously operated a Damas vehicle in a residential courtyard where pedestrians, including young children, were present.
The 21-year-old man, who did not possess a driver's license, drove at high speed between multi-story buildings in the city's Cholquvar neighborhood and failed to comply with the stop signals of a local prevention inspector and citizens. He apologized, stating that he was under stress at the time.
Following this, a protocol was drawn up against the young man under several articles of the Code of Administrative Responsibility. The vehicle was temporarily placed in an impound lot.
"I apologize to the public and to everyone. I have realized that what I did was a mistake. I do not recommend this to anyone. I recommend driving only after obtaining the right to drive. I made a mistake once due to my youth," he said.
By court decision, the young man was found guilty under the following articles of the Code of Administrative Responsibility:
Consequently, he was sentenced to a final punishment of 15 days of administrative arrest.
