In Karshi, an unlicensed driver reportedly drove a Damas dangerously inside a neighborhood

A video has circulated on social media showing a Damas driving dangerously in a residential courtyard in the city of Karshi, where pedestrians, including young children, were present. The Kashkadarya Region Road Safety Department announced that the driver has been identified.

It is noted that a person born in 2005 drove at high speed between multi-story buildings located in the Cholquvar neighborhood of Karshi and did not comply with the stop signals of the local prevention inspector and citizens.

The driver apologized, stating that he was under stress at the time.

"A gathering came up, and I took the Damas without my brother's permission. I drove fast and recklessly in the neighborhood; young children had come out, and I didn't see them. I didn't know for sure that there were young children near me. Now I ask a thousand pardons from my people, from the parents of those children; I regret what I did. I was in a state of stress at that time. I won't drive again without getting a license," the driver said.

An administrative report was filed against him under the following articles of the Code of Administrative Responsibility:

The vehicle was temporarily placed in an impound lot.
