It has been revealed in Jizzakh that cotton products worth 4.1 billion soums were not put up for exchange trading within the specified timeframe

Violations of the law related to putting products up for exchange trading have been identified in Karakalpakstan, Andijan, Jizzakh, and Qashqadaryo. This was reported by the Competition Committee.

During investigations conducted in the Jizzakh region, it was established that in December 2025, "Grouptextil" LLC failed to put a portion of 1,186 tons of cotton seed and fiber products, worth nearly 4.1 billion soums, up for exchange trading in the approved timeframes and volumes in 2 cases.

In Karakalpakstan, "Eco Teks Cluster" LLC sold cotton fiber, lint, and cotton oil products on the basis of direct contracts from October 1, 2023, to May 31, 2026, without approving the schedules for putting them up for exchange trading.

In total, legislative requirements were violated in 38 cases. Out of these, in 11 cases, 183.8 million soums of unjustified funds were identified due to the difference between the exchange quotation and the contract price resulting from the direct sale of cotton fiber.

In the Andijan region, the activities of "Sadaf Sof Unlari" LLC during July–December 2025 and January–April 2026 were investigated. The company purchased 3,918 tons of wheat through exchange trading and produced 2,646 tons of 75% wheat flour from it.

However, in July 2025, 258 tons less product than planned was put up for exchange trading, and in December, 570 tons less. In September, 840 tons, in October, 910 tons, and in November, 810 tons of products were not put up for exchange trading at all.

It was also established that "Kasbi tegirmoni" LLC in the Qashqadaryo region failed to put a portion of the volume of highly liquid and monopoly-type products planned for the exchange up for sale.

Regarding these cases, proceedings have been initiated against the entities for violating the requirements of Article 29 of the Law "On Competition" and the regulation approved by the government decision.

They were also given mandatory instructions to return the unjustifiably obtained funds, eliminate the violations, and prevent such cases in the future.

Earlier, it was reported that violations in public procurement worth over 25 billion soums were identified in Jizzakh, Syrdarya, and Fergana.
