In Fergana, a mass illness among children in three kindergartens is being investigated

In Fergana, authorities are investigating the circumstances of a mass illness among children from three kindergartens. The children experienced high fever, abdominal pain, weakness, nausea, and diarrhea.

This involves children from kindergartens No. 2, 7, and 47. According to the Food Safety Committee, as of the morning of October 26, there were 28 children in the regional infectious diseases hospital. Their condition is assessed as stable, with no severe patients.

Another 23 children received medical recommendations after an examination by doctors and were released for home treatment. Their condition was deemed satisfactory.

Specialists are testing the food and dishes the children ate for breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snacks, and have also identified the suppliers. Samples have been sent for bacteriological testing. The epidemiological investigation is ongoing, and the final causes have not yet been named.

Earlier, a three-year-old kindergarten student in the Tashkent region died after drinking an insect control agent.
