Hududgazta'minot has commented on reports that liquefied gas cylinders are being delivered in Andijan for 220,000 soums.
Videos circulating on social networks claim that liquefied gas cylinders in Andijan region are being provided only to citizens registered in the Social Register and that their price has increased to 220,000 soums. In one of the videos, a person who introduced himself as Botirjon Ahmadjonov, the chairman of the "Kumariq" mahalla citizens' assembly in Shahrikhan district, noted that officials from the region are providing gas cylinders only to those in the Social Register. It shows a woman who said she had a disabled child but was not given a gas cylinder because she was not in the register.
According to a request sent by Daryo to Hududgazta'minot JSC, the organization's press service reported that there were no instructions to provide gas cylinders only to those in the Social Register. JSC "Hududgazta'minot" supplies liquefied gas to the population in accordance with the established procedure and approved schedule. The supply of liquefied gas is not limited to citizens included in the Social Register. The official explanation notes that in case of additional needs of the population, it is also possible to purchase it from private entrepreneurs.
In a video taken from another location in the Andijan region, a responsible person informs citizens about the gradual transition to the system of supplying gas cylinders by private entrepreneurs. According to him, this is a commercial cylinder, and the state cylinder will be purchased by low-income and low-income people. Now it is said that the transition to a commercial cylinder will cost 220 thousand soums and gas cylinders will be delivered to homes.
"Hududgazta'minot" stated that it had nothing to do with the delivery of gas cylinders by entrepreneurs to the population and the setting of its price at 220 thousand soums. When purchasing additional liquefied gas through private business entities, the cost of filling and delivering a gas cylinder is determined by the business entity providing the service. The price is determined in accordance with the terms of service and the established pricing policy of the private business entity.
At a meeting held by the president in July, it was announced that the private sector would be involved in the supply of liquefied gas, starting with the Andijan region. Questions remain open about whether the technical conditions for the supply of gas cylinders by entrepreneurs have been established, how the price will be formed, and who will control it.
Currently, Hududgaztaminot JSC supplies the population with liquefied gas at a price of 2,000 soums per liter, and an average of 40,000 soums per gas cylinder. Today, 3.7 million households use liquefied gas.
