In 2026, more than 3.6 thousand mahallas won in the "Initiative Budget" project

In Uzbekistan, the results of the implementation of the "Initiative Budget" project over the past 11 seasons have been summarized. During this period, 24,846 projects were recognized as winners, totaling 25.6 trillion soums.

In 2021–2026, projects in 7,484 mahallas received funding. In 2026, 3,667 mahallas became winners, of which 681 mahallas won for the first time, and 446 supported initiatives were located in areas with difficult socio-economic conditions.

As part of the completed work, 4,414 schools were renovated and 3,145 educational institutions were equipped, 17,513 kilometers of internal roads were repaired, and 1,276 medical institutions were renovated and 1,391 were re-equipped.

In 2026, 495 projects became winners through deputy initiatives. In the format of co-financing partner initiatives, 152 winners were determined, with the contribution of the residents themselves amounting to 9.8 billion soums.
