Xi Jinping: "I wish your country prosperity and well-being, and the people of Uzbekistan happiness, peace and tranquility"
President of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping sent a congratulatory letter to President Shavkat Mirziyoyev and all the people of Uzbekistan on the occasion of the 35th anniversary of the independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan. This was reported by the Presidential Press Service on August 31.
The letter notes that the Chinese side is sincerely pleased that Uzbekistan has made significant achievements over the past 35 years. Xi Jinping assessed the relations between the two countries as "a comprehensive strategic partnership under all circumstances."
"Last year, we met with you twice and set new directions for the development of China-Uzbekistan relations. I attach special importance to the relations between our countries and am ready to work with you to promote the building of a China-Uzbekistan community of shared future for the benefit of the two peoples. I wish your country prosperity and well-being, and the people of Uzbekistan happiness, peace and tranquility," Xi Jinping's congratulatory letter reads.
Earlier, congratulations on this holiday were also published by President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin and President of the United States Donald Trump.
