How to issue a power of attorney for a car?
A power of attorney for driving a car can be issued through my.gov.uz or the SafeRoad YHXX application. If the authorized person needs the right not only to drive the car but also to dispose of it, for example, to sell or gift it, a notarized power of attorney is required. How to issue a power of attorney for a car?
Starting from October 1, 2019, close relatives of a car owner can drive their car without a notarized power of attorney. For this, their details must be specified in the car owner's compulsory civil liability insurance policy.
Close relatives include a husband or wife, parents, children, brothers, and sisters.
Parents of a husband or wife, grandchildren, grandparents, and other relatives are not included in this list.
If the driver does not belong to this category, they will need a document confirming the right to drive the car, including an electronic or notarized power of attorney.

An electronic power of attorney via my.gov.uz is issued specifically for driving a car and does not grant the right to sell the car or take it to another country.
