How much did Uzbekistani citizens spend on healthcare in 8 months?

According to the National Statistics Agency, in January–August 2026, healthcare services worth 16 trillion sums were provided in Uzbekistan.

The report states that this figure increased by 15.7 percent in real terms compared to the same period in 2025.

Hospital services accounted for 31.1 percent of healthcare services, medical practice and dentistry services made up 13.9 percent, and other healthcare services accounted for 55.0 percent.

In three regions — the capital, Tashkent, and Samarkand regions — the volume of services exceeded the trillion mark. The share of Tashkent city in the total volume of medical services is significantly large — 7.4 trillion sums, or 46 percent of the total indicator.
