Market services grew by 17 percent, with the largest share coming from trade, as well as accommodation and food services

In Uzbekistan, market services reached 908.6 trillion soums in 8 months

According to the National Statistics Committee, in January–August 2026, market services worth 908.6 trillion soums were provided in Uzbekistan.

This figure is 17 percent higher in real terms compared to the corresponding period of 2025. In the structure of market services, the largest share fell on trade services.

Trade services amounted to 214 trillion soums. Accommodation and food services were 173.2 trillion soums, financial services were 144.7 trillion soums, and transport services were 141.7 trillion soums.

The volume of communication and information services amounted to 71.4 trillion soums. A volume of 44.6 trillion soums was recorded for other services.

Services worth 30.7 trillion soums were provided in the field of education. Real estate services amounted to 22.3 trillion soums, and personal services accounted for 16.3 trillion soums.

Services worth 16 trillion soums were provided in the healthcare sector. The volume of architectural, engineering research, technical testing, and analysis services was 12.7 trillion soums.

Services for the repair of computers and household goods amounted to 10.7 trillion soums. The volume of rental services reached 10.3 trillion soums.
