Heating a home with a gas stove is life-threatening
Heating a room with a gas stove and using faulty heating equipment can cause carbon monoxide poisoning. The Ministry of Emergency Situations emphasized the necessity of adhering to safety rules to prevent such incidents.

Heating a home using a gas stove poses a threat to life. Therefore, the following rules must be strictly observed: do not use homemade and faulty gas heating appliances; do not heat rooms using a gas stove; have stoves and chimneys checked and cleaned by specialists in a timely manner; do not block chimneys and ventilation shafts; do not leave heating appliances unattended, especially at night; do not store flammable items near equipment; comply with established requirements and the manufacturer's instructions when installing and operating gas appliances.
If the smell of gas is detected in a room, it is forbidden to turn lights and electrical appliances on or off, or to use open flames. It is necessary to open doors and windows, go outside, and call the emergency gas service at 104 from a safe place.
