Hashish trade worth 26 thousand dollars exposed in Tashkent

In the city of Tashkent, two individuals were detained while attempting to sell more than 1 kilogram of hashish for 26,000 dollars. One of them was caught with material evidence while receiving 21,000 dollars from a buyer.

$26,000 Hashish Deal Stopped in Tashkent

According to the State Security Service, a comprehensive operational event against the illicit trafficking of narcotic substances was conducted in cooperation with employees of the SSS Department for the Republic of Karakalpakstan, Customs, and Internal Affairs bodies.

During the event, a large quantity of narcotics smuggled from a neighboring country was confiscated in the city of Tashkent.

In particular, a resident of the city of Denau in the Surxondaryo region, born in 1988 and previously convicted of a drug-related crime, agreed to sell 1 kilogram 185 grams of hashish to a conditional buyer for 26,000 USD in one of the hotels in the Yakkasaroy district of Tashkent.

He was caught with physical evidence while receiving $21,000 of the agreed amount.

Additionally, the driver of a Cobalt car, who had brought the narcotics with him from Surxondaryo to Tashkent, was also detained near the hotel. It is noted that this individual, born in 1987 and residing in the city of Denau, was previously convicted of a theft-related crime.

Currently, a criminal case has been initiated against these individuals, and investigative actions are underway.
