Hashish in the trunk, cabin, and basement: 2.6 kg of the drug seized in two regions

Hashish in the trunk, cabin, and basement: 2.6 kg of the drug seized in two regions

In the Fergana and Namangan regions, SGB officers, together with other law enforcement agencies, seized over 2.6 kg of hashish. The narcotic substance was discovered in the suspects' cars and home.

In the Pop District, 1 kg of hashish was found in a car traveling along the Fergana — Tashkent route. In the Chust District, another 995 grams were detected in the cabin of a car belonging to a previously convicted man.

In addition, 648 grams of the drug were discovered in the basement of a Namangan resident's house. It was established that he had purchased the hashish for $5,000 from an acquaintance.

Criminal cases have been initiated for all facts. An investigation is underway.
