Atletico Madrid head coach Diego Simeone commented on Bayern Munich and England national team striker Harry Kane winning the Ballon d'Or.

"Kane winning the Ballon d'Or was very beneficial for children. It gives children an important takeaway: to reach such incredible heights and achieve high results, hard work and daily dedication are needed," Marca quotes Simeone as saying.

The Ballon d'Or ceremony, established by France Football magazine, took place on October 26 in London. The 33-year-old English striker Harry Kane won the award for the first time in his professional career, beating Real Madrid striker Kylian Mbappé and Barcelona winger Lamine Yamal.

Atletico Madrid will face Bayern Munich at home in the 4th round of the Champions League. The match will take place on the night of November 3 to November 4, Tashkent time.
