Guardiola reveals future plans
Former Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has revealed that he may not return to coaching after leaving the club. The Spanish specialist intends to take a break from football after a long career and focus on his personal life.
The 55-year-old Guardiola left Manchester City, where he had been in charge since 2016, at the end of last season. He spoke about his future plans in the documentary "A Beautiful Obsession".
"I don't know what I'll do next. It will be difficult to return - at least that's how I feel right now. I have to come to terms with a lot of things that have happened in my personal life," Guardiola said.
The specialist plans to take a break after a long career in coaching, devote time to other activities and step away from football for a while.
"I need to focus on myself and do other things. I just want to stop and take a break from everything for a while. That's one of my main goals right now," he added.
Guardiola has won six Premier League titles with Manchester City. He has also won the FA Cup three times and the FA Community Shield. City have also won the Champions League, UEFA Super Cup and the Club World Cup for the first time under Guardiola.
Guardiola also managed Barcelona and Bayern Munich before moving to England, where he enjoyed great success with both clubs.
