Erling Haaland returns to Manchester City training
Norwegian striker Erling Haaland has joined Manchester City's training camp after an extended break due to his participation in the 2026 World Cup.
Goal reports that five other players have returned to training alongside Haaland. They include Belgian winger Jeremy Doku, England players Elliot Anderson, Mark Geahee and Nico O'Reilly, as well as French midfielder Ryan Cherki.
The players joined the team later than the others due to their extended break following the World Cup that ended in the summer. They also missed the club's Asian tour.
Manchester City will play their first official match of the 2026/27 season on August 16. The team will play against Arsenal in the FA Super Cup. The first trophy of the new season will be won in Cardiff.
According to the results of last season, 10-time English champions Manchester City finished second in the Premier League. In the new season, Enso Maresca will coach the team. He replaced Pep Guardiola.
