Gold, cars, mineral fuels: What is Uzbekistan exporting abroad?
According to the National Statistics Committee, in January–August 2026, Uzbekistan's total export volume amounted to 22 billion 866.9 million dollars. This is 3.4 percent less compared to 23 billion 661.7 million dollars in the same period of 2025.
At the same time, the volume of services in the export structure has significantly increased. In January–August, services worth 8 billion 542.9 million dollars were exported. This is a 33.8 percent increase within a year, and its share in total exports reached 37.4 percent. In 2025, this figure was 27 percent.
Exports of industrial goods amounted to 3 billion 359.9 million dollars, increasing by 25.6 percent. Their share in total exports rose to 14.7 percent.
Exports of various manufactured articles reached 2 billion 92 million dollars. This is 88.1 percent more compared to the corresponding period of 2025, making up a 9.1 percent share of total exports.
Exports of chemicals and similar products amounted to 1 billion 775.1 million dollars. Growth in this direction was 32.3 percent, and its share reached 7.8 percent.
Exports of food products and live animals amounted to 1 billion 786.2 million dollars, while exports of mineral fuels and similar materials amounted to 1 billion 56.9 million dollars.
The volume of other goods in exports was 2 billion 863.3 million dollars. This is a 65.8 percent decrease compared to 2025. Its share in total exports amounted to 12.5 percent.
In particular, exports of non-monetary gold amounted to 2 billion 803.8 million dollars. It decreased by 66.3 percent within a year, and its share in total exports fell to 12.3 percent.
Exports of machinery and transport equipment reached 899.8 million dollars, exports of crude materials except mineral fuels reached 230.1 million dollars, and exports of beverages and tobacco products reached 176.2 million dollars. Meanwhile, exports of animal and vegetable oils amounted to 84.7 million dollars, which is 2.1 times more compared to 2025.
