"Hours of the Future" are held on Mondays in schools of Uzbekistan
In educational institutions of Uzbekistan, "Hour of the Future" (Kelajak soati) classes are held on Mondays, the purpose of which is to raise students in the spirit of national and universal values.
This practice was introduced by the Ministry of Preschool and School Education starting from the 2025–2026 academic year.
The program covers preschool education organizations and general education schools within the ministry's system.
The main task of the classes is to foster in children a sense of love and devotion to the Motherland, awareness of national identity, and respect for representatives of the older generation. Within the framework of the program, attention is also paid to raising students' awareness of ongoing reforms, developing social-emotional skills, and forming positive behavioral models.
Representatives of state and public organizations, figures of culture and literature, scientists from various fields, educators, deputies, and famous art figures are involved in conducting the classes. They conduct thematic sessions taking into account the relevant areas of the program.
Video materials featuring experts and specialists are also prepared for educational organizations. The content is posted on the milliytarbiya.uz platform. To date, 410 video materials prepared based on 180 scripts have been published on the platform.
For the 2026–2027 academic year, the ministry has developed a separate "Hour of the Future" program. Educational developments, scripts, visual, and interactive materials have been prepared for different age groups.
Separate curricula have been created for preschool children aged 3 to 7, as well as for students in grades 1–4, 5–8, and 9–11. Materials for these age groups are available on the milliytarbiya.uz platform.
The classes are not limited to the transmission of information. During interactive activities, students can talk about their dreams and goals, discuss the topics being studied, and get answers to questions of interest to them.
A special place in the program is occupied by acquaintance with the historical heritage of Uzbekistan. Children and school students are told about the country's outstanding ancestors, their activities in the fields of politics, science, and culture, as well as their contribution to the development of the state.
To improve the quality of the "Hours of the Future," the ministry regularly organizes training seminars. They are attended by responsible employees of the regional divisions of the department, representatives of the management of educational organizations, and teachers.
The seminars are aimed at familiarizing responsible workers with the content of the program, the methodology of conducting classes, and the mechanisms of their organization in educational institutions.
