Starting September 7, 2026, a comfortable suburban electric train began operating between the capital and the Parkent district. The new route will allow residents and guests of Tashkent to reach the foothills in just 50 minutes, bypassing city traffic jams, with fares ranging from 6,500 to 10,000 soums.

The opening of the new rail link has become a convenient and affordable option for daily commutes of regional residents, as well as for those who enjoy mountain recreation and ecotourism.
