Uzbekistan has expanded online ticket purchasing options for electric trains.

Online ticket purchasing options for commuter trains have been expanded in Uzbekistan.

Passengers using intercity commuter trains in Uzbekistan can now purchase tickets online using the ElektroPoyezd mobile app or a dedicated website, bypassing the ticket office.

This service allows users to view train schedules, purchase tickets in advance, and purchase monthly passes. This feature is specifically available for the Tashkent-Chinorkent-Tashkent route.

The online platform also covers intercity routes in other regions of the country. Specifically, it features routes through Samarkand, Bukhara, and Andijan. Ticket payment is accepted with Uzcard and Humo bank cards.

The launch of a new modern commuter train between Tashkent and Bekabad was previously announced. This train is designed to carry 586 passengers and can reach speeds of up to 120 kilometers per hour.
