From summer internship to the first job: How is Junior TBC Explorers helping young people start their careers?
Ulugʻbek's journey at TBC Uzbekistan began in 2024 with a one-month summer internship in the Client Operations team. Later, the internship period was extended for another month, and after the program concluded, Ulugʻbek continued working in the team. Having gained experience in operational processes, he transitioned into the field of business analysis.

Today, Ulugbek works in the field of business analytics, but he considers the internship to be the very beginning of his professional path.
"What I liked most was the friendly atmosphere at work and the fact that they immediately involved you in real tasks. There were no tasks detached from reality, given just for training. From the very first weeks, I worked with real processes and the team. The internship became a turning point for me: it was here that I understood how processes work from the inside, learned systemic thinking, and learned to see the connection between operational processes and business," says Ulugbek.
The summer Internship program is one of the examples showing that it can be the first step towards professional experience.
Junior TBC Explorers has been running the Internship program for the third consecutive year. The program is designed for children and close relatives of team members aged 16–22 and is held at the company's office during the summer months.
Over three years, more than 130 young people participated in the program. In 2024, 45 people completed the internship, and in 2025, 42 people. In 2026, more than 49 interns also participated in the program.
For one month, participants join the work processes of various teams. They are distributed among teams taking into account their interests, field of study, and business needs. Instead of separate training tasks, interns have the opportunity to see how work processes are organized from the inside, try themselves in a specific direction, and work together with a mentor.
This helps to find an answer to the important question at the beginning of a professional career: "Is the direction I chose really right for me?"
Nursulton came to the internship with knowledge in the field of computer engineering. Initially, he expected to work in a technical direction, but during the internship, he joined the research team.
