Fourteen doctors from the Tashkent region have departed for Korea.
Fourteen doctors from the Tashkent region traveled to Korea to improve their qualifications and study modern diagnostic and treatment methods.
Fourteen medical professionals from the Tashkent region traveled to the Republic of Korea to improve their skills. This trip is part of the healthcare cooperation between the Tashkent region and Gyeonggi Province, according to the Tashkent regional administration.
The visit was organized under a memorandum of cooperation signed between the Tashkent regional administration and the Gyeonggi province governorate. Their Korean colleagues welcomed the arriving specialists.
The delegation included physicians from various specialties: neurosurgeons, cardiac surgeons, radiologists, urologists, interventional cardiologists, traumatologists and orthopedists, oncologists, oncohematologists, and dentists.
During the internship, the specialists will study advanced diagnostic and treatment methods and master techniques for performing complex surgical procedures. They will also participate in laparoscopic and robot-assisted surgeries.
This cooperation is aimed not only at the professional development of medical personnel but also at the subsequent implementation of acquired knowledge and technologies in medical practice in the Tashkent region.
The Khokimiyat notes that over the past two years, specialists from the region who have trained abroad have successfully introduced procedures such as angiography, spinal neurosurgery, and laparoscopic and thoracoscopic surgeries into local medical institutions.
The current trip is intended to facilitate the further development of modern medical techniques and technologies.
It is planned that the experience gained by the doctors will be applied in practical activities, including the organization of qualified specialists at the Nurafshon Multidisciplinary Medical Center.
