Five people killed in Russian attack on Kyiv (video)

Russia struck an office building in Kyiv's Solomyanskyi district with a drone. According to the Mayor of the Ukrainian capital, Vitali Klitschko, at least four people were killed as a result of the attack.

At least three bodies were found in the parking lot next to the office building where the drone struck. Klitschko said seven more people, including a child, were injured. The facade of the building was damaged, and its windows were shattered.

In addition, one of the medical facilities in the Solomyanskyi district was also damaged. Three people who were near it have been hospitalized.

The attack also damaged the data processing center of the provider DataGroup. The company reported that there were no casualties among its employees. It was stated that customer data was preserved, and all services continue to operate through backup centers.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that Russian troops also struck a warehouse used by McDonald's with a drone during the day.

"A combat drone — against ordinary food products. Russia is systematically expanding the escalation: American and other countries' businesses, a data center, internet providers — daily life itself has become a target for Russia," Zelenskyy wrote.

Klitschko clarified that a total of five people were killed and another 31 were injured as a result of the Russian attacks across Kyiv on September 25. Fifteen of them are in the hospital. There are two children among the injured.
