FIFA President Gianni Infantino Visited Uzbekistan

A delegation led by FIFA President Gianni Infantino has arrived in Uzbekistan on an official visit.

At the Tashkent International Airport, Infantino was welcomed by the Minister of Sports Adham Ikramov and the First Vice-President of the UFA Ravshan Irmatov.

It is noted that this visit was carried out with the aim of developing football infrastructure in Uzbekistan, popularizing football among youth, and further strengthening cooperation between the Uzbekistan Football Association and FIFA.

As part of the visit, on September 30, an opening ceremony of modern football pitches built in schools of Chilonzor and Yunusobod districts of Tashkent city will be held.

Additionally, the FIFA delegation will get acquainted with the work being carried out at the Olympic Town, the "New Tashkent Central Football Stadium," and the National Football Center in the capital.

The visit program also includes important matters aimed at further developing mutual cooperation between Uzbekistan and FIFA.
