**FIDE and Total Chess Ratings: Abdusattorov and Sindarov Swapped Places**

Total Chess has published the new overall rating table for November. In it, chess players are evaluated based on classical, rapid, and blitz ratings.

Compared to the official FIDE classical rating, there are interesting differences.

Total Chess is a new international chess project and concept that combines classical chess, rapid chess, and blitz chess into a single competition and introduces an overall rating system. This project evaluates chess players based on their ratings across three different time controls.

Instead of three separate FIDE ratings — classical, rapid, and blitz — a single metric calculated using a special mathematical methodology developed by Professor Mehmet Mars Seven of King's College London is proposed.
