Fergana Region to implement South Korea's medical experience

Fergana Region and Bundang Hospital SNUBH have agreed to develop cooperation in the fields of medicine, physician training, and exchange of experience.

Fergana Region Intends to Adopt South Korea's Advanced Medical Experience

Fergana Region plans to implement South Korea's advanced healthcare experience and expand cooperation with Seoul National University Bundang Hospital (SNUBH).

On September 4, the Khokim of the region, Khayrullo Bozorov, held a meeting with a delegation led by Professor Sergey Kim, head of the International Medical Center of Seoul National University Bundang Hospital.

During the negotiations, the parties discussed the development of cooperation in the healthcare sector, the implementation of advanced medical experience in Fergana Region, professional development of specialists, and the organization of professional experience exchange.

Khayrullo Bozorov noted that in recent years, large-scale reforms have been implemented in Uzbekistan aimed at improving the healthcare system, increasing the quality and efficiency of medical services, as well as the widespread introduction of modern diagnostic and treatment methods.

According to him, cooperation with the world's leading medical institutions, including prestigious clinics of the Republic of Korea, is of great importance in this process.

One of the proposals was to send doctors from Fergana Region for advanced training to Seoul National University Bundang Hospital.

In addition, the parties discussed holding master classes and training courses in Fergana with the participation of leading Korean specialists. Another area of cooperation will be the exchange of experience in the field of modern diagnostic and treatment methods.

Following the meeting, the parties agreed to continue cooperation based on a corresponding "road map".

The document should define further areas of cooperation and practical steps to develop interaction between medical institutions of Fergana Region and South Korea.

Seoul National University Bundang Hospital is one of the largest university medical centers in the Republic of Korea.

The institution operates in the fields of high-tech diagnostics and treatment, scientific research, and the development of medical information technologies.

Modern digital systems for managing medical processes are widely used in the hospital. Every year, about 1.7 million patients receive medical care at the institution.
