Fergana Region to expand cooperation with Chungbu University

Fergana Region and Chungbuk National University have agreed to expand educational programs, academic exchanges, and scientific cooperation.

Fergana Region intends to expand cooperation with Joongbu University

Fergana Region and Joongbu University have reached an agreement to expand cooperation in the field of education, including joint programs, student and faculty exchanges, as well as collaboration in scientific research.

The Khokim of Fergana Region, Khayrullo Bozorov, discussed issues of further partnership with the President of Joongbu University, Professor Lee Jung-yeol.

Special attention at the meeting was paid to the implementation of the joint educational program between the Korea International University in Fergana and Joongbu University.

The parties noted the results of the work within this initiative, which provides young people with the opportunity to acquire modern knowledge and skills in the Republic of Korea and gain international educational experience.

The meeting participants agreed to intensify cooperation, expand the list of joint educational programs, and initiate collaboration in new areas.

Joongbu University is a four-year higher education institution in the Republic of Korea, with a campus in the city of Goyang. The university trains specialists in international business and business administration, international trade, early childhood and special education, architecture and civil engineering, software engineering, game software development, information security, information and communication technologies, electrical and electronic engineering, automotive engineering, industrial design, and other fields.

The university offers undergraduate, graduate, and PhD programs to citizens of Uzbekistan. TOPIK certificates in the Korean language or IELTS in the English language are taken into account upon admission. In addition, interviews for applicants are conducted in Uzbekistan.

The amount of financial support provided to students depends on their level of knowledge and academic performance. The university provides grants and scholarships, which in some cases cover up to 100% of tuition costs.

Following the negotiations, the parties agreed to continue developing the partnership between Fergana Region and Joongbu University, improve existing joint educational programs, and implement new mutually beneficial initiatives.
