EPL. Liverpool played an uncompromising draw with Nottingham Forest

In the 2nd round of the English Premier League, the match between Liverpool and Nottingham Forest ended. The match at Anfield ended in a 2-2 draw.

The score in the match was opened in the 24th minute by the visiting team's player Dan Ndoye. 8 minutes later, the Merseyside midfielder Florian Wirtz equalized, but the goal was disallowed due to offside.

In the 60th minute of the match, Liverpool striker Alexander Isak equalized. 10 minutes later, Forest midfielder Morgan Gibbs-White scored a penalty into the net guarded by Alisson Becker. In the 82nd minute, the hosts' new signing Victor Munoz restored the balance and saved his team from defeat.

In the previous round, Liverpool drew 2-2 with Newcastle, while Nottingham Forest lost 0-1 to Leeds.

The Reds next face Ipswich Town on September 5. The Foresters host Tottenham at home on the same day.
