The document outlines the following objectives:
• increasing the flow of direct foreign investments and tourists by simplifying the visa system;
• utilizing the experience of advanced foreign countries in this direction and strengthening mutual cooperation.
In accordance with the Decree, starting from September 1, 2026, a visa-free regime will be introduced for citizens of the Republic of India who hold valid multiple-entry business and tourist visas of Australia, the United States of America, the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Canada, the Republic of Korea, the Schengen Agreement member states, New Zealand, and Japan.
Additionally, during the validity period of one of these foreign visas, they are required to present an air ticket to their own country or to a third country for a period of up to 30 days from the date of entry into the territory of Uzbekistan.
By July 1, 2027, based on the results of the impact of this decision on the flow of Indian tourists, a proposal will be developed to apply this practice to citizens of other foreign countries as well.
