It is reminded that the privilege applies to designated cultural heritage sites, state museums, and museum-reserves throughout the month of November.
Discounts introduced for elderly people entering museums and historical sites
"Elderly Tourism Month" will be organized in Uzbekistan from November 1 to November 30, 2026. As part of this, elderly citizens will be granted a 50 percent discount on entrance tickets to cultural heritage sites, state museums, and museum-reserves.
This initiative serves to expand the opportunities for the elderly to visit historical monuments and museums, enjoy meaningful leisure time, and get closely acquainted with the country's rich cultural heritage.
The discounts are being introduced based on the tasks set out in Minutes No. 1 of the Cabinet of Ministers meeting on September 29, 2026.
It is reminded that the benefit will be valid throughout the month of November at designated cultural heritage sites, state museums, and museum-reserves.
