The delegation of Uzbekistan held negotiations with 15 importers from Kuwait.
"Particular attention was paid to the possibilities of supplying meat and frozen products, confectionery, dried fruits, and legumes to the Kuwaiti market," the report says.
According to the information, an exchange of views took place with representatives of Abrar Universal Group and Alyasra Foods on the conditions for exporting meat and frozen products, as well as on issues of quality, supply volumes, packaging, and logistics. In addition, negotiations were held between World Sweets and the enterprises Zarqand and Krember regarding the export of confectionery products.
Special attention was paid to the entry of domestic products into the Kuwaiti market during meetings with Souq Adan, Go Fresh, Cozmo Central Food, and SAF Kuwait.
Following the negotiations with Ariana Advanced General Trading, a company specializing in the wholesale trade of food products, on the export of dried fruits, legumes, and meat products, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed with Amax Exim LLC.
It is specified that one of the key areas of the visit was the development of e-commerce. During a round table with representatives of Alhafed National, issues of promoting and selling domestic products to Kuwaiti consumers through e-commerce channels were discussed.
The launch of the Yeeb e-commerce platform is planned for October, where a special section for products from Uzbekistan has already been created. This opens up new opportunities for exporters to enter the online market. In this regard, a gradual integration of domestic exporters into the platform and the creation of product catalogs are planned.
As a practical result of the cooperation, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Ministry of Agriculture of Uzbekistan and Alhafed National, as well as memoranda on export issues with Amax Exim and Chortoq Mineral Water. In addition, the possibilities of establishing a trading house for domestic products in Kuwait were explored.
Special attention within the framework of increasing exports was paid to the transport and logistics sector. Representatives of Navoi International Airport discussed the possibilities of organizing air cargo transportation with Beyout Holding, KRH, and Sky Aviation Service Group.
In particular, the parties considered issues of prompt delivery of perishable food and agricultural products, meat, and frozen products, as well as the possibilities of transit and further distribution of cargo.
